Tashiba Williams is a board-certified Nurse Practitioner and the visionary founder of Ada Family Health Clinic. Born and raised in Chicago, Tashiba overcame the challenges of teen motherhood—graduating in the top 5 of her high school class—to pursue a career in nursing driven by the memory of her grandmother, Ada. After a radical pivot to Houston in 2010, she recognized a desperate need for patient advocacy and specialized care that prioritized human dignity over corporate restraints.
Today, Tashiba operates three medical facilities and a multi-state mobile wound care unit dedicated to reducing amputations and hospitalizations. By bringing high-level clinical expertise directly to the homes of underserved populations, she serves as a "lighthouse" for those facing the most significant gaps in the healthcare system. Her mission is to ensure that every patient receives the same advocacy, functionality, and compassion as a member of her own family.
