Tamera Jo Jennings is 30 years old and grew up in Hamilton, MI. Adopted at birth with her twin sister, she knew her adoption story but lost contact with her biological family due to a closed process early on. She began working young, taking on jobs before age 11, landing her first serving role at 14, and becoming a licensed babysitter. Throughout her teenage years, she built strong connections and developed a solid network.
By 21, she had two children, including a daughter with disabilities, which led her to stay home as an advocate while running a daycare for single moms. This path introduced her to real estate, where she made her first investment and pursued licensure, all while continuing work in hospitality, including helping open and coordinate a wedding venue. After reconnecting with her biological family, she developed a passion for prison reform and anti-recidivism efforts, alongside building her cleaning business. She is driven by community, integrity, and the belief that anything is possible.
