Nancy Daoud’s family immigrated to the United States when she was 11 years old from Alexandria, Egypt where she had her childhood. She attended a British school and had a seemingly privileged life though her family was considered middle class. Due to constant wars and political unrest, her family finally qualified to come to America to the land of the free and the home of the brave. This may seem “corny” to most American born individuals, but immigrants truly value what those words mean down to the core because they have experienced life elsewhere. She completed her education and graduated from university at age 20 and subsequently completed several professional designations.
Through a great deal of hard work and perseverance, Nancy built a financial advisory business that ranks her in the top 100 women in her industry. There were many obstacles to achieving this being a single mom of three little children while striving to consistently grow the business to this level of excellence. She has learned that women have an incredible ability to adapt and grow significantly if they just believe in themselves and have some confidence.
Personally, Nancy is a music fan, in particular classical music, especially opera. Her faith in God is her pillar in everything she does and thinks. She has also grown to appreciate fine food and wine. She travels consistently outside the U.S. as well as domestically. She speaks Arabic (her native language), French (her mother’s first language), Spanish and now learning Italian. Speaking different languages allows her to understand how not only other cultures communicate but how they think and feel about life.
