KJ Analysis, (Krystal Jackman), was raised on the island of Trinidad until the age of eight. She was influenced profoundly by her parents: her mother, a registered nurse who instilled a strong faith, and her father, a confident construction worker who successfully opened his own business after the family migrated to Palm Bay, Florida. She was put in charge of her father's bookkeeping as a teenager, an experience that sparked her own dream of business ownership. Despite being extremely shy, she found an outlet in sports, where she was loud, assertive, and outgoing, winning various awards in volleyball, basketball, and track. She pursued her education at the University of Florida, where she studied psychology.
While her early attempts to start a business failed, her failures fueled her ambition. A pivotal moment came during her graduate studies when she met professor and business owner Dr. Jose Martinez Diaz, who took her under his wing. Working with him solidified her passion for Applied Behavior Analysis and her professional philosophy of using data-based clinical treatment to help individuals with developmental disabilities and mental health disorders. The catalyst for her successful venture came on Christmas Eve in 2013, when a sermon on fear by Pastor Clark encouraged her, as a new single mother, to finally start her business. Less than a month later, she renewed her Medicaid contract as a solo behavior analysis provider.
In June 2014, she expanded this into her official company, Higher Aspirations Behavior Services LLC. As CEO, she uses behavior analytic principles to provide clinical treatment, train caregivers, and offer residential homes for individuals with challenging behaviors. Her mission is to be known as the company that "treasures individuals" and gives a voice to those who are often forgotten because of their disabilities. She learned that running the business requires managing beyond her craft, including supporting employees and being clear on evolving policies. She seeks to continue a legacy of business owners and build an even bigger legacy for her daughter.
