Justyne Albright is an equestrian instructor and entrepreneur dedicated to providing access to the equestrian sport while empowering individuals to build strength, independence, and a kinder way of treating others. For more than three decades, horses have been central to Justyne’s life. Specializing in coaching for the last eighteen years, Justyne has helped aspiring equestrians of all ages achieve their equestrian goals.

When part of her land was taken by eminent domain for a parkway, Justyne’s facility—FCS Equestrian Center—would be forever altered. Years of construction, loss of fields, and downsizing of her program not only changed her, but also impacted her community. In August 2025, her life was forever changed when the entire farm flooded due to mismanagement of water mitigation for the parkway project. In just a few hours, Justyne lost her home and her business.

This experience gave Justyne an altered journey as an equestrian entrepreneur and instilled in her the resilience to be a voice of accountability, innovation, and change regarding eminent domain, while rebuilding her business. FCS Equestrian Center is not the first business, property, or home to be affected by eminent domain, but someone needs to speak up about the negligence associated with eminent domain seizures.
