Jennifer Barba is the founder of the Connecticut Healing Center and a highly experienced clinician specializing in adolescent and adult psychiatry. With 30 years in the field, she is known for her compassionate, trauma-informed approach and her ability to support individuals and families through complex mental health challenges. Her clinical background includes expertise in addiction treatment, forensics, DBT, and CBT, allowing her to provide thoughtful, individualized care rooted in both experience and evidence-based practice.
Beyond her clinical work, Jenn is deeply committed to supporting recovery and overall wellness in the community. She is the founder of Matt’s Homestead, a nonprofit dedicated to helping individuals in early recovery access essential resources, and she is actively involved in recovery housing initiatives such as Keystone House. Her work continues to expand into broader areas of healing, including the connection between mental and physical health, as well as mindfulness and guided meditation practices.
