Alex grew up in Northern Virginia as a horse barn rat and lover of all things outdoors, cultivating a passion for architecture from a young age. After graduating from Auburn University, she returned to the D.C. area to work in commercial tenant design. She spent nine years helping a small firm triple its size, gaining early experience in scaling a business.
In 2018, seeking better work-life balance, Alex moved to Tampa, Florida, to head a commercial food service design firm. There, she discovered a love for designing restaurants "from the front door to the back." Once licensed, she spent three years as the Florida design head for a healthcare-focused firm while moonlighting on residential remodels.
In January 2024, she chose to be bold and launched her own venture. Nearly doubling revenue year over year with projects across multiple states, 2026 is shaping up to be her biggest year yet. To stay balanced, Alex enjoys traveling while working remotely, playing the guitar, gardening, and training for her first triathlon.
